How do I import an application into BlueFabric?

In Live Manager  you can import applications either from BlueFabric or BlueWorks Live.

To import an application, you need to upload a .bfz or XPDL file type.

Importing an application from BlueFabric

When the Live Manager page opens, select Import from Fabric and upload the required .bfz file type. This will start the Importing Wizard where you can customize the name of your application, add or modify the short description or choose the image.

Importing an application from BlueWorks Live

When the Live Manager page opens, select Import from BlueWorks and upload the required XPDL file type. This will start the Importing Wizard where you can customize the name of your application, add or modify the short description or choose the image.

When importing from BlueWorks Live, you have the Advanced settings button exposed. This will let you customize the process information:

  • Roles import status

  • Map your activities

Map your activities - each process activity from BlueWorks Live appears in this page. For Each process activity you have three icons that allows you to modify the task type into the user/system/Approval Matrix.

Note: The fields, for each individual tasks, will require User Interfaces.
